Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" of multi-colored book spines design from Monster Bash Designer Series Paper, cut so the spines are mostly vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Terracotta Tile Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
Fold a Coffin Treat Box base and lid along all score lines using the Bone Folder.
Use pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold the box together. Set aside.
Use pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold the lid together.
Place the piece of Monster Bash Designer Paper upside down on your work surface (in this case, the book spines design face down).
Place the lid upside down in the middle of the piece of designer paper. Trace around the outside edges using a pencil.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the traced area just inside the pencil lines.
Use SNAIL Adhesive to adhere the cut out paper right side up (in this case, the book spines design face up) to the top of the lid. Use Paper Snips to trim off any excess designer paper along the edges.
Mount the "Eat, Drink, & Be Scary" sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash Set on Block B. Ink it up with the StazOn Ink Pad. Stamp it near the left end of the strip of Crushed Curry Cardstock in the center. Leave room to punch the sentiment out.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area so it is on the left side of the circle and centered top to bottom. Punch.
Unlock the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Slide the Terracotta Tile strip into the punch. Punch.
Adhere the sentiment circle punch out to the center of the Terracotta Tile circle punch out.
Adhere the matted circles to the front of the lid on the right side just below the top angles. Trim off excess cardstock on the right side using Paper Snips.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick tool to pick up a skull and crossbones shape from a sheet of Monster Bash Enamel Shapes being sure to get the adhesive as well. Adhere it to the front of the lid so it overlaps the lower left side of the matted circles.
