S how off BOTH sides of your pretty patterned paper with this split paper card idea. This layout works for any occasion and is super easy! Grab your pretty paper and your paper cutter to get started!
Project Recipe
1. Fold the 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of So Saffron paper in half to form the card base.
2. Cut a piece of patterned paper measuring 3-3/4" x 5".
Line up your patterned paper in the cutting track from corner to corner and cut it in half diagonally. Then keeping the paper that you cut together, turn it and cut again from the other corner to corner. This gives you 4 pieces.
3. Turn two of the pieces over and adhere to the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White, leaving about 1/8" along the edges.
Tip: adhere the first piece, then line up the point of the second piece with the first piece. It's okay if they are touching because you will be covering that section with your greeting tag.
4. Take the other two pieces and adhere to the Basic White piece as shown.
5. Choose ribbon (optional) and drape it back and forth using adhesive to keep it in place.
6. Ink up your greeting and cut out using the Tasteful Labels Dies and the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (or other die cutting machine). Adhere to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
