Project Recipe
Base Card - Granny Apple Green 8 1/4 x 5 7/8 scored and folded @ 4 1/8
1st Layer - Whisper White 5 5/8 x 3 7/8
Inside Layer - Whisper White 5 5/8 x 3 7/8
Scraps of Whisper White and various coloured cardstock
We will start by doing our background.
With a sponge dauber blend balmy blue and granny apple green to make the sky and the grass. Leave to dry
Stamp the raccoon, squirrel and mouse on some scrap Whisper White Cardstock.
These are two step stamps, so you stamp the detailed stamp and then add additional colour with the second stamp.
For the Raccoon I used Black and Sahara Sand.
For the squirrel, I used Cajun Craze and Grey Granite
Stamp the Happy Birthday leaving enough space to cut it out with the speech die.
I only single stamped the mouse in Smoky Slate as I preferred it that way.
Die cut out your animals, sentiment, flower, bow and several flowers in various colours and the grass in Granny Apple Green.
With a sponge dauber, add some Granny Apple Green around the feet of the animals and some Balmy Blue around the edge of your sentiment.
Affix some flowers to the inside layer of your card and adhere it in.
Add the squirrel to the bottom left-hand side of the front of the envelope
Add some of the flowers to the centre of the back flap of the envelope.
We can now assemble the front of the card.
Attach the front layer to your card.
Add the grass to the bottom edge on the front layer.
Place your characters and sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals. Add the flower and bow to the raccoon.
The flowers can then be spread along the grass edging.
Finally, stamp some butterflies.
