P retty, sparkly birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut card stock and glimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mint Macaron Card Stock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Mint Macaron Card Stock
- 2-1/2" square of Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper from 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack
Pick out the large detailed flower framelit from the Stylish Stems Framelits. Place the large white rectangle on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Big Shot Platform. Place the large detailed flower framelit on top at an angle in the lower right corner. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the tiny pieces.
Mount the corner swirls image from the Make a Medallion Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the white rectangle with the flower cut out. Get as close to the edges of the white card stock as you can.
Mount the tiny diamond image from the Make a Medallion Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center bottom of the corner image. Stamp the diamond image horizontally in each of the three remaining corners. Be sure to re-ink each time. Stamp it twice more horizontally in the middle of the top and bottom edges, re-ink each time. Stamp it two more times vertically in the center of the right and left edges, re-ink each time.
Choose the Mint Macaron Marker from the 2015-2017 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. Use the fine tip to draw squiggly lines between each of the diamonds and the corner image.
Flip the white card stock over and place small pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive all around the edges of the flower cut out, getting as close to the edges as you can.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape pieces and adhere the square of glimmer paper to the white rectangle so the glimmery side will show through on the front.
Put SNAIL Adhesive on the back of the white/glimmer paper rectangle and adhere it to the large Mint Macaron rectangle and then to the front of the Sweet Sugarplum card.
Mount the frame image from the Special Reason Stamp Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad and stamp it in the center of the smaller white rectangle.
Mount sentiment of choice from the Special Reason Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the frame image.
Pick out the larger frame framelit from the Stylish Stems Framelits. Place the stamped white rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of your Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the larger frame framelit on top so the stamped frame image is centered in the framelit. Place the other Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Choose the Sweet Sugarplum Marker from the 2016-2018 In Color Stampin' Write Markers. Use the side of the brush tip to outline the edges of the frame cut out.
Pick out the larger detailed leaf framelit from the Stylish Stems Framelits. Place the small rectangle of Mint Macaron Card Stock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Big Shot Platform. Place the larger detailed leaf framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the tiny pieces and remove the leaf from the die.
Put a little bit of SNAIL across the back of the top of the sentiment frame cut out. Adhere the bottom of the detailed leaf cut out to it so the leaf will be sticking out at an angle to the upper left.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the leaf and sentiment frame cut out to the card front to the center left of the flower.
