B right and cheery thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 3" x 4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 4" of tightly packed flowers of all kinds design from Daffodil Afternoon 12" x 12" Design Series Paper
- 2" x 4-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Insert the Crushed Curry rectangle into the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the rectangle of floral Daffodil Afternoon Designer Paper to the center of the Mossy Meadow rectangle so a bit of Mossy Meadow shows along the top and bottom edge. The right and left edges will be even.
Adhere the layered designer paper rectangle to the dry embossed Crushed Curry rectangle so the bottom edge is about 1/2" from the bottom. The left and right edges will be even.
Adhere the cardstock/designer paper rectangle to the front of the Daffodil Delight card.
Unlock the Medium Daisy Punch. Slide one end of the 2" x 4-1/4" Very Vanilla rectangle into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Slide the cardstock over a bit and punch again so you have two daisy punch outs.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the two daisy punch outs together so they make one full daisy.
Put the layered daisy on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to color in the center of the daisy.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals, adhere the layered, colored daisy to the front of the card so it is centered over the top of the designer paper rectangle on the left side.
As you are ready to stamp using the Special Moments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount one of the longer, but skinnier sentiments from the Special Moments Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/2" x 3-1/4" vanilla rectangle.
Pick out the tag with scalloped top die that cuts out a 2-3/4" long tag from the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the tag with the top of the tag on the left side. Run through the machine.
Cut a 4" piece of the Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.
Put the ribbon piece on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Use the brush tip of the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends to color both sides of the ribbon piece.
Slide one end of the colored ribbon through the hole in the left side of the tag. Pull it through so it is equal.
Cut a 10" piece of the Very Vanilla Twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.
Tie the twine around the ribbon just a the top of the tag using a small bow. Trim the ends of the ribbon and twine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment tag to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle so the top of the tag just overlaps the lower right side of the layered daisy.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a large or medium Crushed Curry dot from the sheet of Playing With Patterns Resin Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the layered daisy.
Tip: Because you colored the daisy center with Stampin' Blends, you may need to use a Mini Glue Dot to make sure the resin dot really sticks to the center of the daisy.
