M y nephew is all airplanes. He has his pilot’s license. This is the birthday card I made him.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Misty Moonlight 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut World of Good paper 4 X 5 ¼. Attach to card base.
Use Stitched Rectangle dies to cut two basic white pieces (use dies measuring 2 ¼ X 3 ¾ and 1 ⅛ X 2 ½) and a World of Good paper (use die measuring 1 ¾ X 3 ¾).
Attach a rectangle cut from World of Good paper to the left side of the card front. Stamp airplane with Early Espresso ink to the larger of the white rectangles. Attach to card front with Stampin dimensionals. Stamp Sentiment with Misty Moonlight ink to the smaller white rectangle. Attach stamped rectangle to lower right corner of card front.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Whisper White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
