S oft and pretty card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Powder Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Fresh Fig Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" of the white shell flowers on Powder Pink background design from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack
- 2-7/8" x 3-1/8" from Powder Pink Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the Fresh Fig rectangle to the front of the Powder Pink card.
Mount the more detailed large conch shell image from the So Many Shells Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp off on Grid Paper one time. Then, stamp it along the bottom of the white rectangle at a slight angle with the bottom tip of the shell as close to the lower right corner as you can get it.
Mount the more solid large conch shell image from the So Many Shells Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped conch shell image.
Choose one of the sentiments from the So Many Shells Set that will fit in the space over the conch shell. Mount it on Block H. Ink it up with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it over the shell so it is closer to the right side of the cardstock.
Paint some Clear Wink of Stella onto the conch shell as desired.
Adhere the shell and sentiment image to the Powder Pink rectangle.
Adhere the strip of Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper to the back of the Powder Pink layer so it sticks out on the left side about 1" inch.
Cut a 4" piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon piece across the designer paper/cardstock piece so it hides the seam between the two. Flip the piece over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere them in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ends.
Remove the protective backings from the piece and add more SNAIL to the back. Adhere to the center of the card front.
Cut a 6" piece of Silver Mini Sequin Trim. Fold the piece in half and lay it on the card front so the fold in the trim is on top of the ribbon near the top.
Cut a 10" piece of Peekaboo Peach Baker's Twine. Slide one end under the ribbon and tie it in a half knot to secure the Sequin Trim to the ribbon. Then tie a small bow and trim the ends of the Baker's Twine and Sequin Trim.
