Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Poppy Parade Cardstock at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3" x 3-7/8" of green, red, and white diagonal stripes design from Snowy Scenes 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-3/8" x 3-7/8" of green, red, and white diagonal stripes design from Snowy Scenes 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2-5/8" x 3-5/8" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- snow globe cut from sheet of rows of small snow globes design from Snowy Scenes 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips Scissors
Fold the Poppy Parade card so the 2-3/4" fold is a mountain fold and the 5-1/2" fold is a valley fold.
As you are ready to stamp using the Snowy Wonder Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Season's Greetings" sentiment from the Snowy Wonder Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the horizontal 4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle so it is centered top to bottom and as close as possible to the left edge.
Adhere the 3" x 3-7/8" piece of diagonal striped Snowy Scenes Designer Paper to the right side of the stamped white rectangle so a thin line of white shows along the top, right, and bottom edges.
Adhere the stamped and layered white rectangle to the inside of the back flap of the card.
Adhere the 2-3/8" x 3-7/8" piece of the diagonal striped Snowy Scenes Designer Paper to the center of the 2-1/2" x 4" white rectangle.
Adhere the matted designer paper rectangle to the front left flap of the card.
Mount the Falling Snow stamp on Block F. Leave the stamp rubber side up on your work surface and press the open Pool Party Ink Pad all over it.
Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place the 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" Basic White rectangle on top of the inky stamp so it is in the center of the stamp and is horizontal. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock rectangle.
Mount the "Let it snow" sentiment from the Snowy Wonder Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the horizontal, snow fall stamped white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the Garden Green rectangle.
Use Tear & Tape strips on the back of the left side of the horizontal, matted white rectangle ONLY to adhere the rectangle to the front, left flap of the card. Make sure no adhesive goes over the fold line or your card will not open.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out a small snow globe image by hand from the piece of Snowy Scenes Designer Paper.
Adhere the snow globe cut out to the left side of the front panel as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 white gems from a sheet of Faceted Gems Trio Pack making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front panel of the card as shown.
