A dorable gift bags made with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2" x 4" from Pool Party Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/4" of white snowflakes on pink background design from Snowy Scenes 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Pick out a small bag from the Gift Bags Combo Pack and place it on some Grid Paper on top of a Stampin' Pierce Mat on your work surface.
Mount the large snowflake image from the Snowy Wonder Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it on the upper left side of the folded bag front.
Mount the small snowflake image from the Snowy Wonder Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly across the top of the folded bag front. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the left and right edges of the bag.
Use your fingers to tear the Pool Party rectangle into three horizontal strips.
Adhere the torn Pool Party strips to the bottom of the folded, stamped bag front so the strips overlap each other a bit with the torn edges on top.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess Pool Party cardstock along the left, bottom, and right edges.
Unlock the Happy Labels Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the Snowy Scenes Designer Paper strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the smaller scallops) as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Mount the "Let it snow" sentiment from the Snowy Wonder Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the punched designer paper strip so it is closer to the left edge with the punched edge on the left.
Adhere the sentiment strip punch out to the front of the bag as shown so it overlaps the top of the torn Pool Party strips a bit and is about 1/4" from the left side.
Mount the penguin image from the Snowy Wonder Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white square leaving room to cut it out and to stamp a top hat in a later step.
Pick out the matching penguin die from the Snowy Wonder Dies. Put it on top of the stamped penguin on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Use the fine tip of the Petal Pink Stampin' Write Marker to color in the penguin's feet and beak.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the penguin cut out to the front of the bag as shown so it is centered over the right side of the sentiment strip.
Mount the top hat image from the Snowy Wonder Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the remaining scrap of the white square.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the top hat by hand.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the top hat cut out to the front of the bag as shown at a slight angle over the right side of the penguin's head.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large Petal Pink gem from a sheet of Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the large stamped snowflake on the front of the bag.
Use a handheld circle punch to punch two holes in the top of the bag about 1/2" from the top so they are in the center and are about 3/4" apart.
Unfold the bag and fill it with treats.
Cut an 8" piece of the Pool Party 5/8" Pompom Ribbon.
Feed the ends of the ribbon through the holes in the top of the bag from the back side. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
