Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pool Party Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-1/2" x 4-7/8" from Night Of Navy Cardstock
- 3-3/4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Pool Party Cardstock
- 2-1/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
Pick out the stitched rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 3-3/8" x 4-3/4" from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Put it on top of the 3-3/4" x 5-1/4" white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Insert the large, stitched white rectangle cut out into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed, stitched white rectangle cut out to the center of the Night Of Navy rectangle and then to the center of the front of the Pool Party card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the Pool Party square. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the medium-sized, more detailed snowflake die from the So Many Snowflakes Dies. Put it on top of the Pool Party square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Pool Party (blue) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the Pool Party snowflake cut out. Adhere it at a slight angle to the upper right corner of the dry embossed, stitched white rectangle on the front of the card. The right edge should be about 3/8" from the right edge of the white rectangle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Snowflake Wishes Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Snowflake Wishes for a Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes Set on an Block H. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it near the bottom edge and slightly to the left side of the 2-1/4" x 4-1/4" white rectangle. Be sure to leave room to cut it out.
Pick out the stitched rectangle die that cuts out a rectangle that is 1-5/8" x 3-5/8" from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Put it on top of the sentiment stamped white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is close to the bottom and left edges. Run through the machine.
Mount the larger grouping of multiple small snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Pool Party Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top right side of the sentiment on the white sentiment rectangle cut out.
Adhere the stamped sentiment rectangle cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the bottom of the snowflake cut out and is about 1/4" from the bottom and right edges of the dry embossed, stitched white rectangle cut out.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the lower right corner of the sentiment rectangle cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a small Night Of Navy gem from the sheet of Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere the gem to the center of the snowflake cut out.
