T
his is a simple card to learn to water color. You could change up the colors to your favorite colors.
Project Recipe
Cut a 8.5 by 11inch sheet of card stock in half. That would be 41/4 wide then you need to score at 51/2 inches with your Stampin' Trimmer.
Take a coordinating piece of card stock measuring 3 3/4 inch by 5 inches. Using your Stitched Shapes Framelits I chose the largest oval to place in the middle of the card stock. Hold in place with a post it note. Then run through the Big Shot.
Take the card stock with oval cut into it and place on card stock base. It can be held in place by post it note and adhere stamp to clear block H. Stamp inside of oval so that black Stazon ink will apply ink to card base.
Your can add color with a Aqua Painter. I have chosen Flirty Flamingo ink. You fill painter with water and touch the brush into ink that you put in the lid of the ink pad. You only need to start with a drop. You only need a light touch it might look like you don't have ink in the brush but you will. Remember you can always add more ink/color but you can't take it away so start light.
Special Celebrations was the perfect stamp set for me to use on this card. I stamped the sentiment in black Stazon so the ink would match. I cut a strip and adhered it onto the back of card stock with the oval cut out. I used Tombo adhesive. Then I placed several Stampin' Dimensionals onto the back.
Place card stock over the base card stock and gently push down so that the Stampin' Dimensionals will adhere.
