Project Recipe
Card Layout Measurements
* Card base A2 (4.25 x 5.5)
* Green layer (4 x 5.25)
* Red layer (2 x 4)
* White layer under the patterned paper (3.25 x 4)
* Patterned paper layer (3 x 3)
1. Cut card base (score at 4.25).
For any new card makers out there, to get an A2 sized card I cut an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock at 5 1/2 inches to make 2 separate card bases.
Then place that piece on your scorer tool and score at 4.25.
Fold over with bone folder and alas, a perfect card base!!
2. Cut all other layers according to sizes above.
I always like to cut all the layers of a card out and lay them on the card base to see how everything looks before I glue anything down. Sometimes this leads to rearranging things in a way that I like even better! A simple twist and turn of a piece of paper can all of a sudden bring a card to life!!
3. Stamp and color Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. Die cut these using dies in the set.
4. Stamp the sentiment. Die cut this using dies in the set.
5. Arrange everything the way you want it on the card, apply adhesives, and alas - a fun, easy card!!
Adhesive choices I use.
* Adhesive snail to glue down all the card layers
* Dimensionals for Santa, Mrs. Santa, and the tag with the sentiment to give a little pop to the card.
