A 6"x4" Christmas Card featuring the Light & Peace Stamp Set from the Autumn/Winter 2019 Catalogue, Watercolor Pencils & Aqua Painters.
Project Recipe
Take a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock measuring 8" x 6" and with the 8" side to the top of your Stampin' Trimmer or Simply Scored, score down at the 4" mark. Fold the scoreline and burnish using a bone folder.
Take a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock measuring 5 13/16" x 3 13/16" and emboss it using the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (don't forget to use the Blue 3D Embossing Folder Plate in your sandwich).
Take a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper measuring 3 3/8" x 3 3/8" and using Jet Black Stazon Ink, stamp the Shepherd image from the Light & Peace Stamp Set.
Using Watercolor Pencils, colour the image as shown in the photo then use the Aqua Painter to go over the pencil marks to turn them to watercolour.
I used:-
Basic Grey, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Old Olive & Whisper White from Watercolor Pencils.
Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze and Night of Navy from Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2
Using StaZon Ink stamp the 'Glory to God' Scripture onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and punch out using the Everyday Label Punch
Using the two foliage dies from the Frosted Frames Dies, cut out two of each from Granny Apple Green Cardstock. Arrange these behind the punched scripture, adhering them with liquid glue.
To build your card attach the embossed panel to the main card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Next add the coloured image panel towards the left hand edge of the embossed panel, approx 1/2" from the edge with even borders top and bottom using liquid glue.
Finally add the scripture panel to the right hand side of the card, overlapping the image and leaving a small border of embossed panel at the far right edge using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Your card is now complete - sit back and admire your handiwork.
