P unny fall card to say congratulations with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3-1/2" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock
- piece of black and orange cats on vanilla design from Spooky Night Designer Series Paper
Mount the solid block letters "P A W S O M" from the Labeler Alphabet Set on Block G in reverse order as close to each other as you can get them. Ink them up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad and stamp onto Grid Paper to make sure they are in the correct order and straight. Then, re-ink with Pumpkin Pie Ink and stamp onto the large vanilla rectangle so the "P" is about 3/4" in from the left and the whole line is about 1-3/8" up from the bottom.
Tip: If you plan to make more than one of these cards, then leave the stamps on the block.
Mount the solid block "E" from the Labeler Alphabet Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad and stamp on Grid Paper to make sure it is correctly oriented and straight. Re-ink with Pumpkin Pie Ink and stamp in line with the rest of the letters at an equal distance.
Place the stamped vanilla rectangle on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool in the upper left corner. Use the stylus to score a line down the left edge at the 1/8" mark. Rotate the cardstock 90 degrees and score another line at the 1/8" mark. Repeat until all four sides are scored.
Adhere the stamped and scored vanilla rectangle to the front of the Pumpkin Pie card.
Mount the leafy tree top image from the Sheltering Tree Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the vanilla square so only about half of the leaves get stamped on the square. Clean the stamp but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped Crushed Curry leaves but slightly off set. Clean the stamp but leave it on the block.
Re-ink the stamp with the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it over the previously stamped leaves but slightly off set. Clean the stamp and put it away.
Pick out the smooth square framelit that cuts out a square that is 2-5/8" wide from the Layering Squares Framelits. Place the stamped vanilla square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the square framelit on top so you cut out a square with the bottom 3/4" having stamped leaves on it. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use the side of the brush tip on the Cajun Craze Marker to outline the square.
Adhere the square to the front of the card over the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Unlock the Cat Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the piece of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper into the punch and center one of the orange cat images in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the cat punch out to the center of the square.
Pick out the tiny leaf thinlit from the Seasonal Tags Framelits. Place the scrap of Crushed Curry Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the tiny leaf thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the card stock.
Use a squished up Mini Glue Dot to adhere the leaf cut out to the card front so it looks like it is hanging out of the cat's mouth.
