B eautiful fun fold card with the amazing New Horizons paper. This paper does all the work to make a stunning card.
Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock to 5 1/2 by 4 1/4
Cut another piece of Misty Moonlight 2 3/4 by 11/12 scored at 5/12 for outside flap fun fold
Cut two pieces of basic white cardstock at 2 5/8 by 5 3/8.
Cut the New Horizons Designer Paper landscape at 5 3/8 ( cut off the top of design).
Then cut 2 consecutive 1 inch strips for either side of card out of the DSP piece.
Attach the designer paper 1 inch strips on either side of the 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Misty Moodlight
Cut the New Horizons Designer Paper landscape at 5 3/8 ( cut off the top of design).
Then cut 2 consecutive 1 inch strips for either side of card out of the DSP piece.
Attach the designer paper 1 inch strips on either side of the 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 piece of Misty Moonlight
Next attach the the 11 1/2 by 2 3/4 scored Misty Moonlight piece to front of card.
Stamp the grass from the On The Horizon Stamp set in Old Olive ink on 2 5/8 x 5 3/8 piece of basic white cardstock.
Attach this to the Misty Moonlight inside flap.
Start building the front of the card now.
Die cut a blue ocean out of the designer paper and stamp waves on it in Misty Moonlight.
Die cut a fence piece from Crumb Cake cardstock. Ink with a dauber and run through the Bark embossing folder to add some texture.
Die cut some grass out of the New Horizons green pattern paper
Stamp the birds in Misty Moonlight ink.
Stamp the grass with Old Olive ink.
Stamp the Thinking of you Sentiment near the bottom in Misty Moonlight.
Emboss the stamped piece with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder
Attach ocean piece under grass.
Attach Fence die cut on top of ocean. I put liquid glue on either end so that the middle is raised up a bit for dimension.
Attach the grass, and pebbles
Attach the white piece to the Misty Moonlight card flap.
Wrap twine around the layers at the bottom.
That's it! Your masterpiece is complete!
