T he inspiration behind this card was from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Juana Ambida. I took her ideas of using Mint Macaron and lots of hearts on the card front and then played around and made my own card.
Project Recipe
Cut a piece of Whisper White thick cardstock 11 in x 8.5 in and score in half at 5.5 in. Use your Bone folder to get a nice fold.
Cut a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock 5.5 in x 2 1/8 in and add it to the right hand side of the card using Snail adhesive
Take the Sending Love designer series paper and choose five papers from which to punch a heart using the Sweetheart punch. Ensure you choose a variety of papers - some with a red base and some with a white background.
Using one more piece of the designer series paper, cut a further heart with the Bigshot using the solid heart with the shadow around it.
Cut three of the hearts with the horizontal lines with a piece of Mint Macaron using the Bigshot, Magnetic platform and Precision Base Plate. Use the Die brush and Paper piercing tool to remove the cut bits.
Cut one of the smallest hearts using the Bigshot in Mint Macaron cardstock.
Stamp the sentiment from the Sealed with Love stamp set in Real Red ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut it out using the Bigshot and the heart framelit with the cut shadow around it.
Stamp the largest of the hearts in Real Red ink and cut it out using the same framelit as above.
Using the "hugs & kisses" sentiment, stamp the inside of the card in Real Red
Taking the smaller of the heart and leaf motif stamps, stamp the Whisper white card front in Real Red about 8 times. This adds interest to the background of the card.
Lay your hearts down the join between the Whisper White and Mint Macaron card pieces in a pleasing manner alternating the positioning of the hearts and colours and background colours.
Use Snail adhesive to attach them to the card front.
Attach the sentiment popping the small Mint Macaron heart slightly under the sentiment.
Add three Pearl basic jewels to the top right hand side of the card.
