~Strips of Balmy Blue and Night of Navy, 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" long.
~Various scraps-basic white approx. 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" for diecut shape on front and two 1/2" wide strips approx 4 1/2" and 5 1/2" long.
Make the cardstock layer for card front using the Misty Moonight piece. Adhere strips of cardstock at an angle. Refer to photo of card front for layout. Leave approx. 1/8" between strips so the Misty Moonlight cardstock show.My strips were a smaller pretty peacock, then balmy blue, then basic white, night of navy, pretty peacock and then basic white. This is from left to right. I used Multi purpose liquid glue. Turn layer over and trim all strips to edge of Misty Moonlight layer.
Using the embossing folder that has lines/cross hatching look, put this Misty Moonlight layer with the strips on it, into embossing folder and run through machine.
Stamp and diecut:
~On basic white scrap stamp "Wishing you a happy Father's Day" sentiment from He's All That stamp set. I used Misty Moonlight ink.
~Diecut sentiment with the frame die from He's All That" die set.
~ Use the die from the set that looks like the argyyle pattern (see photo). Diecut two from Misty Moonlight and two from Pretty Peacock.
Assemble:
~Adhere embossed layer with strips to the basic white card front.
~Put dimensionals on the back of the Pretty Peacock layer that is 2" x 4 5/8". Adhere to card front.
~Glue on one pretty peacock diecut and two misty moonlight diecuts onto the left front piece just put on with dimensionals. Glue sentiment frame onto the right side of this panel. See photo for placement. Use Multi Purpose glue in a fine tip bottle for less mess and seepage.
Inside of card:
~Adhere strip of Pretty Peacock to bottom of inside of card. I left a little white showing on the bottom.
~Stamp "holy smokes you're amazing" inside card off to right a bit using Misty Moonlight ink pad.
~Adhere Pretty Peacock argyyle diecut to the left of inside sentiment.
Bling it up....just a bit
~Using a small 4" length of the ribbon, tie a knot. Trim ends. Adhere to front of card on top of diecuts using a glue dot.
~Use the blue dots from the 2023-2025 In Color dots. I used one of each size. See photo for placement.
