Instructions:
Score and burnish card base.
Adhere the Basic Black layer to the card front.
Use the largest pennant die from the Nested Essentials set and die-cut the 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 piece of Basic White.
Stamp your sentiment near the top of the basic white die-cut.
Using Pumpkin Pie ink, stamp the row of 5 pumpkins.
Stamp the same image on your piece of masking paper, making sure you are stamping on the matte side, not the shiny backing side.
Fussy cut the pumpkins on the masking paper, being sure to cut right to the edge of the image. You don't want any white showing and you don't want to cut into the image. Just trim it along the outside edge of the image.
Peel the backing off of the masking paper (this may be a little tricky as the paper is very thin, so be patient with it!). Place the masking paper over the stamped pumpkin images on the die-cut.
TIP: I place the sticky side of the masking paper on my shirt or pant leg first to reduce some of the stickiness.
Ink up the grass image (you only need the fatter end of the image, not the whole image). Stamp it off once, then stamp it so that the top of the stamp is over the bottom edge of the pumpkins.
Ink up the fence post (Crumb Cake ink) and stamp it so that the bottom of the post lines just above the top of the grass image.
It will look like a hot mess, but trust me, it will be fine!!
Gently peel off the masking paper.
Your image should look like this, the pumpkins appear to be sitting on the grass and in front of the fence :).
Stamp the pumpkin stems in Old Olive ink.
Take the Old Olive strip and emboss it with the Cane Weave embossing folder (or a folder of your choice).
Adhere this piece to the Crumb Cake layer so that it is about 1/2" from the right-hand side of the layer.
Take one of the texture stamps from the Of Art & Texture set and stamp the image to the left of the Old Olive embossed strip, using Old Olive ink stamped off once. This is an optional step, the card looks fine without it if you prefer not to do this step.
Turn over the white die-cut piece and apply a couple of strips of double-sided adhesive down the center, vertically. Fold your ribbon in half and attach it to the back of the die cut. You should have a loop at the top and the tails of the ribbon at the bottom. Trim the ends as needed.
Attach the die-cut with dimensionals, lining it up so that it is centered over the Old Olive embossed layer.
Apply Wink of Stella to the pumpkins.
Apply the embellishments.
Stamp the pumpkins and stems to the 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock and adhere it to the inside of the card.
Stamp the pumpkins and stems on the lower right-hand side of the envelope.
You are finished!
