Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 7" and scored at 2-3/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 2-3/8" x 5-1/8" of diagonal orange plaid design from Gingham Cottage 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-5/8" x 3-3/4" from Basic Black Cardstock scored at 3"
- 2 pieces each 1-3/4" x 3-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Mount the bats image from the Scary Cute Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the vertical 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle.
Mount the boy carrying a lantern image from the Scary Cute Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the vertical 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle.
Mount the two-line sentiment of choice from the Scary Cute Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vertical 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" black rectangle.
Fold the 1-5/8" x 3-3/4" black strip on the score line so the small flap is tucked under the large flap.
Put strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the inside of the small flap of the black rectangle. Remove the protective backings. Adhere the small flap to the back of the matted white/black rectangle so the large flap is about 1-3/8" from the top when folded over.
Fold the Pumpkin Pie card on the score line so the smaller flap is on the left and folds over the back of the card.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive and/or Stampin' Seal to adhere the matted white/black rectangle with black flap attached to the inside of the back of the card in the center.
Mount the tiny "Boo!" sentiment from the Scary Cute Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it 5 times on the Gingham Cottage Designer Paper piece as shown. Make sure to re-ink the stamp each time and vary the orientation slightly.
Adhere the stamped designer paper rectangle to the center of the 2-1/2" x 5-1/4" Basic Black rectangle. Then, adhere it to the front, left flap on the card.
Mount the line of three trick or treaters image from the Scary Cute Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one of the remaining white rectangles. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again in the center of the other remaining white rectangle.
Pick out the rectangle die that cuts out a 1-7/16" x 2-13/16" stitched rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped trick or treaters rectangles on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other trick or treaters image.
Adhere one of the trick or treaters rectangle cut outs to the front of the small black flap so it is centered. Adhere the other to the back of the small black flap so it is centered.
