Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Night of Navy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Balmy Blue Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Balmy Blue Cardstock
Insert the large Balmy Blue rectangle into the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Balmy Blue rectangle to the front of the Night of Navy card.
Pick out the light blue compasses on dark blue small card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.
Adhere the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and an equal distance to the top edge as the side edges.
Mount the "let hope be your anchor..." or "set sail ..." sentiment from the Sailing Home Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Night of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Balmy Blue rectangle.
Pick out the large, curvy label die from the Smooth Sailing Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it is centered across the bottom of the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card.
Pick out an anchor trinket from the Sail Away Trinkets.
Cut a 4" piece of Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine.
Tie the twine to the hole in the top of the anchor trinket. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the anchor trinket to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the lower right side of the sentiment cut out.
