A
fter making my first Rose Garden card and posting it on December 9th, I decided to make this card using the left over pieces.
Project Recipe
I had four die cut pieces left over, in four different colors: Real Red, Watermelon Wonder, Garden Green & Wild Wasabi. I separated the leaves from the rose on each piece using scissors, then off-set the different colors just slightly and glued them together.
I placed the Wild Wasabi pieces beneath the Garden Green and the Watermelon Wonder beneath the Real Red.
The hardest part of this card was the gluing, but with Stampin' Up!'s new Fine Tip Glue Pen it wasn't that bad. If you haven't experienced that glue yet, you've got to give it a try. The tip on it is needle thin and the lid has a wire in it which you insert into the opening before screwing it shut. Because of that design, you never have to worry about a clogged tip again!
The background DSP is from the new Love Blossoms Paper Stack which will be available on January 5, 2016 along with the Rose Garden Bundle.
