C ard I created for a swap using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Powder Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Berry Burst Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of the white shell flowers on Powder Pink background design from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack, cut the paper so the rows of shell flowers are vertical
- 1-1/2" x 4-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Powder Pink Cardstock at least 1" square
Adhere the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper piece to the Berry Burst rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon. Fold the ribbon in half lengthwise on one end. Cut a notch in the end by using Paper Snips to cut at a sharp angle towards the fold in the ribbon cutting off about 1/2" of ribbon.
Lay the ribbon piece across the center of the designer paper/cardstock with the flat end going off the top edge. Flip the designer paper/cardstock over and fold the end of the ribbon over. Adhere the end of the ribbon in place with a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strip and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere the designer paper/cardstock to the front of the Powder Pink card.
Put a line of SNAIL in the center of the designer paper under the ribbon. Adhere the ribbon to it.
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide the strip of white cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the bottom of the white banner about 3/8" from the top of the notch.
Mount the larger heart image from the Ribbon of Courage Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white banner about 1/2" up from the top of the sentiment.
Use the Powder Pink Marker brush tip to color in the flowers inside the heart image.
Adhere the stamped banner to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Mount the small heart image from the Ribbon of Courage Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Berry Burst Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Powder Pink scrap.
Pick out the small heart framelit from the Support Ribbon Framelits. Place the stamped heart image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped heart image. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the tiny heart to the banner on the card front so it overlaps the big heart on the bottom right just a bit.
Remove a medium Pearl Basic Jewel from the sheet being sure to get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the half flower on the right side of the tiny heart.
