Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and glimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 2-5/8" square from Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Early Espresso Cardstock
- 2" square from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-5/8" square of Garden Green glimmer paper from Festive Glimmer Paper
As you are ready to stamp using the Reindeer Fun Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Reindeer Fun Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the horizontal 4" x 5-1/4" vanilla rectangle so it is about 3/8" from the bottom and about 5/8" from the right side.
Mount the small group of holly leaves image from the Reindeer Fun Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it just above the right side of the stamped sentiment on the vanilla rectangle as shown. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it just below the left side of the sentiment as shown.
Insert the Garden Green rectangle into the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed green rectangle to the top of the stamped Very Vanilla rectangle so it is about 3/8" from the top edge. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess Garden Green cardstock on the left and right edges as needed.
Cut a 4-3/4" piece of the Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/4" Satin Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon horizontally across the center of the dry embossed Garden Green strip. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the vanilla rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Cherry Cobbler card.
Adhere the vanilla square to the center of the Cherry Cobbler square and then to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the Garden Green strip on the left side.
Pick out the reindeer head with antlers die and the more open reindeer head die from the Reindeer Fun Dies. Put them on top of the Early Espresso rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Pick out the more solid reindeer head die from the Reindeer Fun Dies. Put it on top of the Crumb Cake square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Crumb Cake reindeer head cut out to the top of the Early Espresso reindeer head with antlers cut out. Then, adhere the more open Early Espresso reindeer head cut out on top of that.
Pick out the small wreath die from the Reindeer Fun Dies. Put it on top of the Garden Green glimmer paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the wreath and assembled reindeer head to the front of the card as shown so they are centered on the vanilla square and the reindeer head pops out from the center of the wreath.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/4" Satin Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front and tie in place with a half knot so it is centered between the matted square and the right side of the card. Trim the ribbon.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 single Cherry Cobbler berry from a sheet of Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the reindeer head nose.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 2 groups of 3 Cherry Cobbler berries from a sheet of Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere the berry groups to the front of the card as shown so they fill in the empty spaces of the holly leaves around the sentiment.
