T
here is so much inspiration in the catalogues. If you're feeling bamboozled or overwhelmed and don't know what to make, just take a browse though the catalogues. I CASEd this card from the catalogue as well. If you're new to stamping - CASE means Create And Share Everything. It's meant to be a compliment if you CASE someone's work, just make sure you give credit to the creator, if you share your version of it.
Check it out on page 54 on the January - June 2022 mini Catty.
Project Recipe
You will need:
Card base - Cinnamon Cider 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, score at 4-1/4
Heart & Home DSP 5-1/4 x 4
Vellum 2-1/2 x 4-1/4
Basic White - 5-1/4 x 4 (inside) and scrap for floral stamp
Blushing Bride- scrap for banner
The first thing I did was stamp the script stamp randomly onto the vellum with Cajun Craze and the postal type stamp with Cinnamon Cider ink. Set aside to dry or speed up the drying time with your heat tool. (Water based ink on Vellum take a while to dry)
Stamp the floral design on to Basic white with Memento Black ink. I coloured my flower with Stampin' Blends, then cut it out with the matching die from the Ranunculus Dies.
Next, cut the bottom third from a Heart & Home doily in Cinnamon Cider. Layer as per the photo, making sure your glue dots are strategically placed, so they don't show through the vellum.
I used Stampin Dimensionals behind the floral die cut and on the banner. Finish with a few Brushed Brass Butterflies, and Voila!
On the inside, I stamped the floral design in Cinnamon Cider, off to the left side.
Very simple and Very effective. I hope you like it.
