Project Recipe
Cut designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- 2" x 6" from Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, choose a pattern that doesn't have a directional orientation
- 1-1/2" x 3" from thin, multicolor stripes on white background design from Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are horizontal on the vertical strip
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" from small cloud shapes made of dashed white lines on pale blue background design from Sunshine & Rainbows 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines are horizontal on the vertical strip
Put the 2" x 6" piece of Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Paper on your Paper Trimmer so the long edge is flush with the top of the trimmer. Score down at the 2-1/2", 3", and 3-1/2" marks.
Fold the designer paper in half along the 3" mark.
Unlock the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. Slide the open ends of the folded designer paper strip into the punch as far as they will go and get them centered. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide one short edge of the thin, multicolored stripes strip of Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Paper into the punch as far as it will go and get it centered. Punch.
Pick out the tag with small rainbow at the top die from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies. Put it on top of the small rectangle of clouds Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Paper on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Rainbow Of Happiness Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "a little something to brighten your day" sentiment from the Rainbow Of Happiness Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Misty Moonlight Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the clouds designer paper tag cut out in the center.
Adhere the stamped tag cut out to the punched striped designer paper strip so the tag is centered side to side and the tops of the rainbow cut out at the top of the tag overlap the hole in the top of the designer paper strip. Don't worry about gluing down the fine lines of the rainbow cut out.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off the bottom of the striped designer paper strip so it is even with the space around the rest of the rainbow tag cut out.
Cut a 10" piece of the Misty Moonlight/silver Baker's Twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.
Fold the twine in half. Poke the folded end of the twine through the hole in the top of the tag (also through some of the lines of the rainbow cut out). Pull the looped end out a bit. Feed the loose ends of the twine through the loop and tighten the loop back down on the top of the tag leaving the loose ends free.
Fold the large, punched designer paper strip on the other two score lines and wrap it around some candy.
Cut a 5" piece of the White 3/4" Frayed Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon through the hole in the top of the tag. Pull the ribbon through so it is even and the designer paper tightens around the candy.
Wrap the loose ends of the twine at the top of the tag around the frayed ribbon near the top of the treat holder. Tie in place with a small bow. Trim the ends of the twine and the ribbon.
