This gift card holder idea can easily be replicated using whatever pretty papers you have on hand & for any occasion! Have fun with it!
Project Recipe
Start by cutting your cardstock into the following measurements:
a. Cherry Cobbler: 4-1/2” x 5-1/2”
b. Whisper White: 5” x 7-3/4” (score at 2-1/4” and 6” on the long side)
c. Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper: 1-1/2” x 4-3/4”
d. Shaded Spruce scrap for tree
Fold the Whisper White on all score lines.
Adhere Tear ‘n Tape on the sides only of the SMALLER flap, fold up and secure at the sides (this is your pocket for the gift card).
Adhere the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper to the front of the pocket as shown.
Adhere the back of the Whisper White pocket card to the Cherry cobbler base.
Note: You will only put adhesive on the bottom portion, as the top portion will open like a card.
Ink up the tree stamp from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set (I used Golden Glitz ink, but since that is not available Shaded Spruce ink would work well), and stamp on a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock.
Punch tree out using the Pine Tree Punch, and adhere to the front, right side of the top, larger flap using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Ink up greeting from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink, and stamp on the front of the larger flap.
Adhere 2 Holiday Rhinestones on the card front as shown.
Ink up a different greeting from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink, and stamp on the inside of the larger flap.
Ink up the To/From stamp from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink, and stamp inside just above the pocket.
