Z-Fold Christmas Gnome Card |
I challenged myself to create a variety of cards using some of my favorite products, with the Kindest Gnomes Bundle, and only one 6" square of Designer Series Paper (DSP). This is one of the cards that I came up with. It is one of my current favorites. I hope you enjoy it also.
Materials
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Night of Navy Cardstock (CS)
4" x 5 1/4" Designer Series Paper (DSP)
2" x 5 1/4" DSP
3 1/4" x 4 1/2" White CS (Cut 2)
Score the Night of Navy CS at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4". Fold and burnish at the score lines to form the Z.
Use the Scalloped Contours Die to cut both sheets of white CS.
On the inside piece:
*Stamp the sentiment and the tree. I also added the birds from the On the Horizon stamp set.
*Attach the CS to the piece of DSP, then adhere to the inside of the card base.
Gnome:
*Use a scrap of white CS to stamp the Gnome and die cut it out.
*Color the Gnome using your favorite coloring tools (markers, pencils, etc.).
*Attach using mini dimensionals.
Decorate front card.
*Stamp the Sentiment and trees as desired.
*I again added a few birds.
*Attach the remaining piece of DSP to the front of the card base.
Mount the front CS to the card base. Note: Only add adhesive or glue to the left side. Make sure you can still open the card.
Embellish as desired!
