Dimensions
Card base - SU! cherry cobbler, 29.6 x 10.5 mm (half of A4), scored on the longer side at 14.8
Insert - SU! very vanilla, 14.2 x 9.9 mm
Top - SU! very vanilla, 14.2 x 9.9 mm
Method
Take the top vanilla card and stamp stars using the black ink.
Run the stamped sheet through the big shot with brick wall embossing folder.
(if you haven't used a Big Shot before or are unsure, please, ask me. I'm happy to help).
Stamp the reindeer in black ink. Make sure you stamp with the antlers to the edge of the paper for easy alignment with the punch. You can punch the image out now or after you colour it. Colour in the antlers with the brown marker, to colour the head use the same marker (chocolate chip)and aqua painter. (Just scribble with the marker on a piece of plastic, scoop a bit of colour onto the aqua painter and apply as desired). Colour the nose red with a marker and brush with the wink of Stella.
Stamp the "Merry Christmas" sentiment in green ink on a strip of vanilla paper, cut edges with snips to create a banner.
Glue the stamped sentiment onto the red strip.
Take out all the cut outs provided in a littlel plastic bag (Green-red large square, red small square, green large swirly circle, golden-white small swirly circle, large star (snowflake), 3 small golden stars.
Put a gold brad through the hole in the middle of the bigger star.
Arrange everything as on the sample or however you'd like and start glueing everything (without folding the card - this makes it easier to place everything).
If you prefer to follow the sample exactly - glue (snail or tear double tape) the embossed (wall impression) vanilla paper on the top, the blank vanilla paper inside the card. Then finish off the top - first, glue the green swirly circle (use the multi glue, thin end), use snail glue or double tape to fasten the red square onto the green, glue dot to attach the star to the red square. Glue the small, solid gold stars. Use multi glue for the golden swirly circle, dimentionals for the deer.
Snail or tear tape glue for the sentiment strip. Before you attach it to the card but after you apply the glue strip to the back, use the golden metallic thread, wrap it around the strip, press it to the back to create swirls and then attach all to your card top.
Fold the card and burnish the scoreline with a bone folder.
