Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a cutting and scoring tool:
- card from Mossy Meadow Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of large magnolia blooms on black background design from Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 2- 3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Adhere the Magnolia Lane Designer Paper rectangle to the Basic Black rectangle and then to the front of the Mossy Meadow card.
Pick out the rectangle die from the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3D Embossing Folders. Put it on top of the large Mossy Meadow rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Lightly spritz the Mossy Meadow rectangle frame with water and insert into the rectangle Heirloom Frames 3D Embossing Folder. Line it up on the embossing portion of the folder. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Set aside to dry.
Tip: I used a couple of Mini Glue Dots and adhered the center, solid rectangle cut out when using the rectangle die to the center of the smooth rectangle in the center of the embossing folder. This makes it easier for me to line up the rectangle frame inside the embossing folder.
Tip: You may need to use the 3D Embossing Folder Plate with the embossing folder. If you don't have the plate, you may need to use a couple of thin cardboard shims.
Mount the long, textile image from the Woven Heirlooms Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. STAMP OFF on Grid Paper, then stamp across the top of the larger vanilla rectangle. Repeat, remembering to STAMP OFF each time, until you’ve stamped across the entire vanilla rectangle.
Mount the "prayers and ...." sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it in the center of the stamped vanilla rectangle slightly closer to the top edge.
If the rectangle frame is dry, proceed with the next step. Speed up drying if needed with the Heat Tool.
Adhere the rectangle frame over the stamped sentiment rectangle so the sentiment is near the top and centered side to side. Trim off excess vanilla cardstock from the sides if needed using Paper Snips.
Adhere the framed sentiment to the front of the card so the top is about 5/8" from the top of the card and the right edge is about 3/8" from the right edge of the card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp
Mount the open magnolia bloom image from the Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Memento Pad. Stamp it on the smaller Mossy Meadow rectangle so you get all the leaves. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the open magnolia bloom image on Block D with the Memento Pad. Stamp once onto Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it on the smaller vanilla rectangle so you get all the bloom.
Put the stamped bloom vanilla rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.
Start coloring the bloom image with the Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the dark colors first and then the light colors to blend the colors and color in the spaces. Work on one area at a time so the inks will be wet and will blend easier.
Cut out the colored bloom image by hand using Paper Snips. Cut off the leaves.
Cut out the Mossy Meadow bloom image using Paper Snips. Cut off some of the areas of the bloom between the leaves.
Adhere the cut out bloom over the top of the cut out leaves so they line up.
Cut a 6" piece of Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim.
Fold the Lace Trim in half and adhere it to the back of the layered bloom image so the loose ends of the Lace Trim will stick out to the right side of the bloom. Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold the Lace Trim in place.
Remove the protective backing on the Tear & Tape and add SNAIL to the back of the layered bloom. Adhere it to the lower left corner of the frame on the front of the card so the Lace Trim covers the lower portion of the frame to the right of the bloom.
Trim the ends of the Lace Trim into angles.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a hexagonal shaped gem from a sheet of Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the magnolia bloom.
