Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
Insert the 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock into the Woodland Embossing Folder so the tree trunks will be vertical on the vertical cardstock. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine.
Lightly rub the VersaMark Pad across the raised surface of the dry embossed white rectangle.
Lay the dry embossed white rectangle on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers the whole rectangle. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Tip: I use a fine-tip paintbrush to knock off any excess powder that is stuck anywhere I don't want it.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny and more opaque white).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold the cardstock while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Adhere the dry and heat embossed white rectangle to the front of the Whisper White Thick card.
Mount the sentiment from the Winter Woods Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining, smaller rectangle of white cardstock.
Pick out the label die from the Stitched Nested Labels Dies that cuts out a label that is 1-1/2" wide. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so it is centered over the sentiment side to side with the sentiment as close to the top as possible. Run through the tool.
Tip: You may have to press fairly firmly along the edges of the die to pop the cut out loose.
Rub the Embossing Buddy all over the sentiment label cut out.
Mount the shadow line image from the Winter Woods Set on Block G. Ink it up with the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it just below the sentiment on the label cut out.
Lay the sentiment label cut out on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers the shadow image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Tip: I use a fine-tip paintbrush to knock off any excess powder that is stuck anywhere I don't want it.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (shiny and more opaque white).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold the designer paper while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Adhere the stamped, heat embossed sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is about 1-1/4" from the top and the left point is about 3/8" from the left side.
Pick out the leaves on a stem die from the In The Woods Dies. Put it on top of the Shaded Spruce rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Adhere the leaves on stem cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the right side of the sentiment label cut out with the leaves pointing up.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 Sahara Sand sequins from a sheet of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the leaves on a stem cut out on the front of the card.
Cut a 3" piece of Real Red 3/8" Cotton Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at the bottom of the stem on the leaves on a stem cut out.
