Winter Owls Owl On Branch Thanks

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Basic White Thick Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" from Balmy Blue Cardstock
   - 1-3/4" x 4" of white snow dots on blue background design from A Walk In The Forest 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
   - 2" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1" x 4" from Pecan Pie Cardstock
   - 7/8" x 3-7/8" from Adhesive Sheets

2. As you are ready to stamp using the Season Of Chic Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

3. Mount the "thanks" sentiment from the Season Of Chic Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the horizontal Balmy Blue rectangle.

4. Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the long, skinny Pecan Pie strip. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.

5. Pick out the long, detailed, solid branch die from the Winter Owls Dies. Put it on top of the Pecan Pie strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the brown (Pecan Pie) side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.

6. Carefully remove the protective backing from the detailed branch cut out. Adhere it to the bottom of the stamped blue rectangle so the smaller twig piece is on the top of the branch and the tips of the branch are about 1/4" from the right edge and the bottom of the curve of the long twig piece is about 1/2" from the bottom.

7. Adhere the piece of A Walk In The Forest Designer Paper to the left side of the stamped blue rectangle. The top, bottom, and left edges will be even.

8. Adhere a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive to the rectangle so it covers the seam between the cardstock and designer paper. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess adhesive on the top and bottom edges as needed.

9. Cut a 4-1/2" piece of the Balmy Blue 3/8" Sparkle Ribbon.

10. Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strip and adhere the ribbon to it. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess ribbon on the top and bottom edges as needed.

11. Adhere the stamped blue rectangle with branch, designer paper, and ribbon attached to the front of the Basic White Thick card.

12. Mount the sitting owl with feet and his head on the right side image from the Winter Owls Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Pecan Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle.

13. Pick out the matching sitting owl die from the Winter Owls Dies. Put it on top of the stamped image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the stamped image. Run through the machine.

14. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the owl cut out to the front of the card so he appears to be sitting on the branch and his tail just ovelaps the ribbon.

15. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 small and large blue sequins from the sheet of Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
