Winter Owls Flying Owl In Snow

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Basic White Thick Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" from Balmy Blue Blue Cardstock
   - 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" of white snowflakes on blue background design from A Walk In The Forest 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
   - 3-1/2" x 5" from Basic White Cardstock

2. Mount the group of snow sparkles image from the Winter Owls Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the horizontal Balmy Blue rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.

3. Adhere the strip of A Walk In The Forest Designer Paper to the center of the stamped blue rectangle. The left and right edges will be even.

4. Adhere the stamped blue layer with designer paper attached to the front of the Basic White Thick card.

5. Mount the flying owl image from the Winter Owls Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on one side of the white rectangle leaving room to stamp and cut out the sentiment and moon.

6. Mount the moon image from the Winter Owls Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other side of the white rectangle leaving room to stamp and cut out the sentiment.

7. As you are ready to stamp using the Charming Sentiments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

8. Mount the "thank you" sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Balmy Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it on the white rectangle below the moon leaving room to cut everything out.

9. Pick out the matching small circle moon die and the matching flying owl die from the Winter Owls Dies and the matching "thank you" die from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. Put them on top of the stamped images/sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are centered over the stamped images/sentiment. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.

10. Using Stampin' Dimensionals and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals adhere the owl cut out to the front of the card as shown so it is centered over the designer paper strip closer to the left side.

11. Using Stampin' Seal, adhere the "thank you" sentiment cut out to the front of the card as shown so the start of the "y" in "you" appears to be in the owl's beak.

12. Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the moon cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the upper right side of the designer paper strip.

13. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small and 2 large white sequins from the sheet of Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the card front as shown.
