hese Windmill treat boxes would be perfect as place cards on a brunch table, decorations at a bridal shower, or simply brightening up your Easter decor!
Make them in any color to compliment your style!
Start with a piece of card stock in basic white 5" x 4".
Along the 5" side, score at 1/2", 1 3/4", 3 1/4" and 4 1/2".
Turn and score along the 4" side 1 1/4" and 2 3/4".
Burnish all score lines.
Cut panels out of base piece as shown to create box.
Add tear and tape to flaps.
Fold in side flaps and fold front flap up and over; glue. Repeat for the back side.
Cut 2 coordinating pieces of card stock or patterned paper for the side panels 1 3/8" x 1 1/8".
Die cut 1 windmill detail piece and 1 simple piece in chosen color, and 1 simple piece in basic white.
Die cut 1 set of windmill blades in chosen color.
Adhere side panels to box and decorate if desired.
Adhere windmill detail piece to basic white simple windmill piece and then adhere to the front of the box.
Adhere the simple windmill piece to the back of the box.
Attach windmill blades with glue or a brad.
Fill with treats and enjoy!
