As you are ready to stamp using the Whale Done Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Whale Done Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Pacific Point Ink Pad. Stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner of the large, horizontal white rectangle.
Mount the group of little fish image from the Whale Done Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Tahitian Tide Ink Pad. Stamp the image a couple of times around the previously stamped sentiment in the lower right corner of the large white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Make sure all the fish are swimming towards the left. Let some of the images go off the right edge.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the three long strips of Tahitian Tide glimmer paper on the stamped white rectangle to figure out spacing. The top strip should be about 3/4" from the top edge. There should be about 1/8" of white showing between each strip.
When happy with the placement of the strips, adhere them in place one at a time using Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle with glimmer paper strips attached to the front of the Tahitian Tide card.
Pick out the scalloped circle die that cuts out a 2-9/16" scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Put it on top of the Pacific Point square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the smooth circle die that cuts out a 2-1/8" circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Put it on top of the Tahitian Tide square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the Tahitian Tide circle cut out to the center of the Pacific Point scalloped circle cut out.
Adhere the layered circles to the front of the card so they are evenly spaced across the glimmer paper strips about 5/8" from the left side.
Mount the whale image from the Whale Done Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Tahitian Tide Ink Pad. BEFORE STAMPING, carefully rock the edges ONLY of the whale stamp onto the open Pacific Point Ink Pad to get a little darker ink on his upper left and tail edges. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp it on one end of the remaining, large white strip.
Use the fine tip of the Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker to outline the whale's eye and fill in the pupil a bit.
Unlock the Whale Builder Punch. Hold it upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped whale image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Adhere the whale punch out to the front of the card so it is centered in the layered circles.
Slide the small strip of Tahitian Tide glimmer paper into the open Whale Builder Punch and get it situated so you'll punch out the spout droplets. Punch.
Using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere the spout droplet punch outs to the card front so they are over the whale's head.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 large Tahitian Tide dots in slightly different shades from the sheet of 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card in a rough triangle over the glimmer paper strips on the right side as shown.
