Welcome Easter |
|
D id you know I would do about anything to avoid coloring? I loved these little animals in the Welcome Easter stamp set but didn't want to color them. By stamping them on colored print paper the coloring is done.

Card Base: Cut 8 ½ X 11 paper in half width wise. I used Daffodil Delight for the chick card and Petal Pink for the bunny card. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut whisper white paper 4 X 5 1/4
Card Front: Cut paper 3 7/8 X 5 1/8 I used prints from Bird Ballad; the Daffodil Delight for the chick card and petal pink with white dots for the bunny card.
Cut the largest square in Stitched Shapes from Whisper White
Cut a 2 3/4 square in the same color as your card base (Daffodil Delight or Petal Pink)
Stamp bunny or chick on color print paper that is same as card front paper. Fussy cut (cut closely around the stamped image) the bunny or chick.
Stamp Happy Easter in black ink at bottom of stitched square you cut from white paper.
Attach card front to white card mat. Attach these to card base.
Attach stamped white square to colored square. Attach these to card front.
Attach fussy cut image about Happy Easter on white square with dimensionals.
That's it; you have finished your card front. Wasn't that easy? Cut a piece of 4 X 5 1/4 Whisper White paper to stamp a sentiment for inside of your card or to write a note in your card. Attach this white piece inside your card.
