Tulip Fields Windmill Field Easter |
P retty Easter card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-3/8" x 4-5/8" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Pool Party Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2" square from Pool Party Cardstock
- 1" x 5-1/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 7/8" x 5-1/8" from Adhesive Sheets
Mount the "Happy Easter" sentiment from the Celebrating You Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the horizontal Pool Party rectangle.
As you are ready to stamp using the Tulip Fields Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the long, set of two skinny triangle tulip fields image from the Tulip Fields Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it along the top long edge of the 1-1/4" x 4-1/2" Crumb Cake strip as close to the top as possible and so the skinny break point where the fields meet is slightly to the left of center.
Mount the large triangle field of tulips image from the Tulip Fields Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it at an angle just below the left side of the stamped Rich Razzleberry tulips as shown. Re-ink the stamp with Pumpkin Pie Ink and stamp it an angle just below the right side of the stamped Rich Razzleberry tulips as shown. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the large triangle field of tulips image on Block I with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it at an angle just to the right of the stamped Pumpkin Pie tulips as shown. Re-ink the stamp with Cherry Cobbler Ink and stamp it an angle just to the left of the stamped Pumpkin Pie tulips as shown. Re-ink the stamp with Cherry Cobbler Ink and stamp it in between the two previously stamped Cherry Cobbler tulips as shown.
Adhere the stamped Crumb Cake strip to the bottom of the stamped Pool Party strip.
Mount the small tree image from the Tulip Fields Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Pool Party square.
Pick out the matching tree die from the Windmill Fields Dies. Put it on top of the stamped tree on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Adhere the tree cut out to the Pool Party/tulip fields rectangle so the bottom of the trunk is just above the Crumb Cake tulip fields strip and the left side of the cut out is about 1/4" from the left side of the Pool Party rectangle.
Peel the protective backing off of the thin Adhesive Sheets strip. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets strip to one side of the thin Soft Suede strip. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the long fence piece die and all four of the short fence piece dies from the Windmill Fields Dies. Put them on top of the Soft Suede strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Soft Suede (dark brown) side is face up. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the large Soft Suede fence piece cut out. Adhere it to the Pool Party/tulip fields rectangle on the left side so it is just above the Crumb Cake/tulip fields strip and the left edge is even with the left edge of the Pool Party rectangle. It will over the top of the base of the tree cut out.
Carefully remove the protective backing from one of the short Soft Suede fence piece cut outs. Adhere it to the Pool Party/tulip fields rectangle so it is just above the Crumb Cake/tulip fields strip and the left edge is even with the right edge of the long fence piece cut out.
Carefully remove the protective backing from another of the short Soft Suede fence piece cut outs. Adhere it to the Pool Party/tulip fields rectangle on the right side so it is just above the Crumb Cake/tulip fields strip and the right edge is even with the right edge of the Pool Party rectangle.
One at a time, carefully remove the protective backings from the remaining short Soft Suede fence piece cut outs. Adhere them to the Pool Party/tulip fields rectangle on the right side so they are just above the Crumb Cake/tulip fields strip and the right edges are even with the left edges of the previously placed fence pieces.
NOTE: You will have a gap in the fence slightly left of center. That's okay. It will be covered by the windmill in a later step.
Adhere the stamped and layered Pool Party/tulip field rectangle to the center of the large Soft Suede rectangle and then to the front of the Pumpkin Pie card in the center.
Mount the windmill image from the Tulip Fields Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining Crumb Cake rectangle.
Pick out the matching, small windmill die from the Windmill Fields Dies. Put it on top of the stamped windmill on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the windmill cut out to the front of the card so it covers the gap in the fence, slightly overlaps the right side of the tree cut out, and the base covers the point where all the triangle tulips fields meet.
