Tulip Fields Windmill |
A dorable windmill with turning blades.
On a 3 3/8 X 3 3/8 white use blending brush to lightly add pool party for a sky background.
Adhere it to a 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 piece of Mango CS.
For card base, cut Mango 4 1/4 X 11 and score at 5 1/2. Cut one side of front from score line to edge at a diagonal.
Cut a coordinating 5 1/4 X 4 pc. of DSP the same diagonal. Making sure to have flowers going correct direction. Save cut off pieces to use on another card.
Adhere DSP to front of card.
Stamp clouds with pool party and sentiment with Mango inks on a scrap of white and die cut.
Die cut the base of windmill from 3 1/2 X 2 1/2 crumb cake, the detailed outline piece from same size soft suede.
Cut the blades from 3 1/2 X 3 1/2 of Early Expresso.
Glue the detailed piece to the front of the windmill. Using pick tool, punch a hole and with a brad add the blades folding the back of the brad downward. Using dimensionals pop windmill up on blended white.
Die cut two layers of tulips and glue them together.
Glue them on under windmill. Glue clouds and sentiment to front.
Glue ONLY left and lower side of mango square and adhere it to front flap.
For inside stamp sentiment at least 1" from top, so it doesn't show when card is closed.
Stamp windmill in lower left corner with soft suede ink.
