Trees For Sale Dog At Tree Lot |
F un Christmas card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Shaded Spruce Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3" x 3-3/4" from Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 2-7/8" x 3-5/8" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1" x 1-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Insert the Crumb Cake rectangle into the embossing folder included with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Cut a 6" piece of the Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Cotton Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon horizontally across the bottom of the horizontal, dry embossed Crumb Cake rectangle about 1" from the bottom. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Crumb Cake rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Shaded Spruce card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Trees For Sale Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large, solid tree image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the horizontal 2-7/8" x 3-5/8" Very Vanilla rectangle as close to the right edge as possible and about 5/8" from the bottom.
Mount the medium, solid tree image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the horizontal 2-7/8" x 3-5/8" Very Vanilla rectangle so it just overlaps the left edge of the stamped large tree image a tiny bit and the bottoms are fairly even.
Mount the large, detailed tree image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped solid, large tree image.
Mount the medium, detailed tree image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped solid, medium tree image.
Mount the string of lights image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it across the upper left corner of the Very Vanilla rectangle two times as shown. Remember to re-ink the stamp before stamping a second time and move the stamp over a bit so the bulbs are in a different area.
Mount the line of paw prints image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp once on Grid Paper. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it across the bottom of the Very Vanilla rectangle as shown so the big paw print is near the bottom edge of the cardstock and is centered under the two trees and the smallest paw print is about 1/4" from the bottom edge and about 1" from the left edge.
Mount the dog image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Very Vanilla rectangle on the left side at a slight angle as shown so the back legs are just above the smallest stamped paw print.
Mount the "trees for sale" sign image from the Trees For Sale Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the separate, small vanilla rectangle.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the sign by hand.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sign to the large, stamped vanilla rectangle at a slight angle as shown so it overlaps the bottoms of the trees and the bottom of the sign post is just above the large stamped paw print.
Use the brush tip of the Mint Macaron Stampin' Write Marker to color in the light bulbs.
Use the fine tip of the Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker to lightly draw circles around the sign post so it looks like it is sticking into snow.
Adhere the stamped and colored large vanilla rectangle to the center of the Mint Macaron rectangle.
Adhere the matted vanilla rectangle to the bottom right side of the card front as shown.
Cut a 3" piece of the Silver 3/8" Metallic Edge Cotton Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon piece under the ribbon already on the card front on the left side of the matted vanilla rectangle. Tie in place with a half knot. Trim the ends.
