Textured Notes Framed Summery Greenery

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Shaded Spruce Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
   - 2-1/2" x 4" of small black and gray leaf stems on white background design from Botanical Textures 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
   - 3" x 4-1/2" of white mottled streaks on black background design from Botanical Textures 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
   - 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
   - 1-1/2" x 3" from Soft Sea Foam Cardstock

2. Mount the smaller, more delicate leafy branch image from the Textured Notes Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Soft Sea Foam Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the vertical, large Soft Sea Foam rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the image a little each time. Let some of the images go off the edges. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy, but leave it on the block.

3. Re-ink the smaller, more delicate leafy branch image on Block D with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it all over the horizontal, leafy Botanical Textures Designer Paper rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Change the orientation of the image a little each time. Let some of the images go off the edges. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub and/or Simply Shammy and put it away.

4. Adhere the stamped designer paper rectangle to the stamped Soft Sea Foam rectangle so the side edges are even and it is about 1-1/4" from the top.

5. Adhere the layered Soft Sea Foam/designer paper rectangle to the front of the Shaded Spruce card.

6. Pick out the rectangular frame with lines die that cuts out a 2-3/4" x 4-1/4 rectangle and the rectangular frame with hash marks that cuts out a 1-7/8" x 3-3/8" rectangle from the Textured Notes Dies. Put them on top of the streaked black Botanical Textures rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the small die is evenly spaced inside the big die. Do NOT let the dies overlap. Run through the machine.

   Note: You are using the large frame cut out on this project. Keep the smaller rectangle cut out for use on another project.

7. Adhere the designer paper frame cut out to the front of the card in the center.

8. Mount the larger leafy branch image from the Textured Notes Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it twice on the Basic White rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp.

9. Cut out both of the leafy branch images by hand leaving a small amount of white showing around the edges.

10. Use the Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Write Marker to color in the white leaves.

11. Adhere the colored, cut out leafy branches to the front of the card as shown so they overlap each other and the top and left and right edges of the frame a bit.

12. Mount the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Year Of Flowers Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small Soft Sea Foam rectangle.

13. Pick out the 7/8" wide banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered. Run through the machine.

14. Adhere the sentiment banner cut out to the front of the card as shown so it covers the bottom of the leafy branch stems and overlaps the left side of the frame near the bottom inside edge.

15. Cut an 8" piece of the Shaded Spruce & Soft Sea Foam 1/2" Ribbon and a 4" piece of the White 1/4" Ribbon.

16. Fold the green ribbon in half. Tie the white ribbon around the center of the folded green ribbon to make a loop in the top of the green ribbon. Tie the white ribbon in place with a knot. Trim the ends of both ribbons.

17. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon loop to the front of the card as shown at a slight angle so it overlaps the right end of the sentiment banner cut out.

18. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 1 small Shaded Spruce hexagons and 1 large Soft Sea Foam hexagon from the Shades Of Green Hexagons making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown.
