Terrific Toadstools Bright Mushrooms |
B right, cheery hello card using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Melon Mambo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of dark pink crosshatching on lighter pink background design from Toadstool Gardens 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/4" x 4-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 8-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 5" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Terrific Toadstools Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "poppin' up to say hi" sentiment from the Terrific Toadstools Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/4" x 4-3/4" white strip.
Pick out the long skinny die with a point on one end and a notch on the other from the Greetings Of The Season Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the notched end is on the left side and is as close as possible to the left end of the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Cut a 5" piece of the Flirty Flamngo twine from the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack.
Wrap the twine around the right end of the sentiment strip cut out just to the right of the sentiment 3 times. Secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Adhere the sentiment strip with twine wrapped around it to the upper right corner of the vertical Toadstool Gardens Designer Paper as shown. It should be about 3/4" from the top. Trim off excess white cardstock sticking out on the right side using Paper Snips Scissors.
Adhere the designer paper with sentiment strip attached to the center of the Poppy Parade rectangle and then to the front of the Melon Mambo card.
Mount the medium mushroom top with spots image from the Terrific Toadstools Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the horizontal 1-1/4" x 8-1/2" white rectangle. Clean the stamp using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub, but leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the medium mushroom top with spots image on Block B with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal 1-1/4" x 8-1/2" white rectangle leaving space between the images to punch them out. Clean the stamp and put it away.
Mount the larger, flatter mushroom top image from the Terrific Toadstools Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the horizontal 1-1/4" x 8-1/2" white rectangle leaving room between the images to punch them out.
Mount the medium mushroom top with radiating lines image from the Terrific Toadstools Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the horizontal 1-1/4" x 8-1/2" white strip leaving room between the images to punch/cut them out.
Unlock the Terrific Toadstools Builder Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the first medium stamped mushroom top with spots image into the punch and get it centered in the corresponding punching area. Punch. Slide the strip over and punch out the next medium stamped mushroom top with spots image. Slide the strip over and get the larger, flatter mushroom top centered in that punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the medium mushroom top with radiating lines by hand.
Mount the taller, skinnier mushroom stem from the Terrific Toadstools Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it twice on the horizontal 1" x 5" white strip leaving room between the images to punch them out. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Clean the stamp using the Simply Shammy and/or Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block. Re-ink the stamp with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad and stamp it one more time on the other end of the white strip leaving room between the images to punch them out.
Hold the unlocked Terrific Toadstools Builder Punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide one of the stamped stems into the punch and get it centered in the stem punching area. Punch. Repeat on the stems.
Mount the fatter mushroom stem with a frill in the center image from the Terrific Toadstools Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining white strip.
Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut out the mushroom stem with frill image by hand.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay all the mushroom tops and stems on the front of the card in the bottom left corner as shown to figure out spacing and placement. When happy with the arrangement, adhere them in place one at a time using Stampin' Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and pieces of dimensionals cut from the edges of the sheet.
Cut an 8" piece of the Flirty Flamngo twine from the Baker's Twine Three Color Pack.
Slide one end of the twine under the twine already on the card front and tie in place in a small bow. Trim the ends, but leave them long.
