Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Purple Posy Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" of small white roses on light purple background design from Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 3-1/2" square from Purple Posy Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Purple Posy Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- purple rose cut from pink and purple roses and green leaves on white background design from Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips
Lightly spritz the large white rectangle with water and insert into the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder so about 1/2" of white cardstock hangs out the left side of the folder with the folder and cardstock both vertical. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine. Make sure neither the cardstock or embossing folder hang out over the edge of the platform. Set aside to dry.
Mount the teapot image from the Tea Together Set on Block E. Make sure to remove the large, solid center of rubber from the center of the stamp. Ink up the stamp using the VersaMark Pad. Stamp it in the center of the square of Purple Posy.
Lay the stamped square on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers the stamped teapot image. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Tip: I use a fine-tip paintbrush to knock off any excess powder that is stuck anywhere I don't want it.
Heat the powder with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (more opaque white).
Tip: Use a clothespin to hold the cardstock while using the Heat Tool to avoid burning your fingers.
Pick out the matching, open, teapot die from the Tea Time Dies. Place the stamped, heat embossed teapot image on the square on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the image is centered. Run through the tool.
If the dry embossed large white rectangle is dry, proceed with the next step.
Tip: You can speed up drying with a Heat Tool if needed.
Adhere the strip of Best Dressed Designer Paper to the dry embossed white rectangle so it covers the smooth area on the left edge.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle with the designer paper attached to the front of the Purple Posy card.
Adhere the teapot cut out to the front of the card on the so the top of the teapot is about 1" from the top of the card and the rigt edge of the teapot is about 1/2" from the right edge.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips to cut a purple rose from a piece of the Best Dressed Designer Paper.
Adhere the rose cut out to the center of teapot cut out.
Mount the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment from the Tea Together Set on Block B. Ink it up with the brush tip of the Purple Posy Marker. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp it in the center of the small white rectangle.
Pick out the smooth oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out an oval that is 1-3/4" long. Place the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is centered. Run through the tool.
Pick out the scalloped oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies that cuts out a scalloped oval that is 2" long. Place it on top of the small Purple Posy rectangle on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool.
Tear a Post-It Note into a long strip with some sticky on one end. Adhere it to the back of the purple scalloped oval cut out.
Press the front of the purple scalloped oval cut out onto the open VersaMark Pad to get it inky. Use the Post-It Note strip to help lift it off the ink pad.
Lay the inky scalloped circle with the Post-It Note strip attached to the back on top of some Grid Paper in the center. Sprinkle on some Shimmer White Stampin' Emboss Powder so it covers the entire scalloped circle cut out. Don't worry if a little gets on the Post-It Note strip. Tap off excess powder. Return the excess powder to the container to use again later.
Using the Post-It Note strip as a handle, heat the powder on the scalloped oval cut out with the Heat Tool until it is completely melted (more opaque white).
Peel the glittery scalloped oval cut out off the Post-It Note strip. Throw the Post-It Note strip away.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the white sentiment oval cut out. Remove the protective backing and adhere the sentiment oval to the center of the glittery scalloped oval cut out.
Adhere the matted sentiment oval cut outs to the front of the card so they overlap the bottom of the teapot and are centered side to side.
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Silver 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front at an angle on the bottom right side of the matted sentiment ovals.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a small Purple Posy dot from a sheet of 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card in the center of the cut out rose.
