Tags in Bloom...or This one's for You! |
I
f you know me, you know I just LOVE any stamp with a punch, so the Tags in Bloom set was a "must have" for me as soon as I saw it,. BUT but little did I know when I bought it (back before this COVID virus quarantine thing all started), just how much I would appreciate the "I miss your face" sentiment included in this set!
I made this card as a project for my long distance stamp club. We moved to FL several years ago, but I still have a "long distance" club in Southern Illinois...hello! club ladies! I hope you'll all enjoy this card, too! Needless to say, I made a few extras while I was cutting cardstock for this month's project just so I could "keep a few "on hand! " for personal use!
Ok,let's get started!

|
See photo above...use the "Wishing you the Best" Sentiment and Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the "floral medallion with flower at the top" image onto a 4" x5.25" piece of Whisper White .
2.) Color in the flowers with Grapefruit Grove Stampin'Write marker and Call Me Clover marker for the leaves. (* You can use blender pens and inkpads or reinkers to color if you don't have the markers).
3.) After the ink has dried thoroughly, run this stamped piece through the Parisian Flourish 3 D embossing folder.
4.)Arrange the "Sending hugs" and "Just For You" images on a clear block so it fits into the inside space of the "Wishing you the Best Box "(hint: see photo for placement).
5)Now ink up combined "Sending hugs just for you" sentiment with Color Me Clover ink and stamp it onto large scrap of Whisper White cardstock, punch it out that with the Label Me Lovely punch then adhere it over the original box shape on front panel.
Next adhere the finished Whisper White embossed front panel to the folded Color Me Clover cardfront. I know it's an extra step but the sentiment looks much better stamped on a smooth paper surface.
Inside of card
step 6) Now use the remaining 4" x5.25" white cardstock piece and Color Me Clover ink to stamp " I miss your face" for inside of card and add a small single flower stamped in Tuxedo Black ink at bottom left corner of inside panel.
Co!or the flower in with grapefruit Grove marker for the petals and Pineapple Punch marker. for the center. Attach this panel to inside of card and your card is complete!
*If you love sparkle like I love sparkle, don't hesitate to use that Clear Wink of Stella pen to sparkle up all of your flowers! And defi jtely run the envelope flap tbrough the same Parisian Flourish embossing folder as you used on the white cardfront layer!
