Sweet Citrus Lemon Thanks |
T hank you card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Daffodil Delight Cardstock
- 3" x 3-3/4" of lemons and lemon slices and green leaves on white background design from Tea Boutique 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper
- 2 pieces each 1-1/2" x 2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Sweet Citrus Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the "thanks a bunch" sentiment from the Sweet Citrus Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the horizontal Daffodil Delight rectangle.
Adhere the piece of Tea Boutique Designer Paper to the left side of the stamped Daffodil Delight rectangle so about 1/8" of yellow shows on the top, left, and bottom edges.
Cut a 4-3/4" piece of the Garden Green ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8" Ribbon Combo Pack.
Lay the ribbon across the layered Daffodil Delight/designer paper rectangle so it covers the seam between the two pieces on the right side. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ends of the ribbon in place with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Daffodil Delight rectangle as needed. Adhere to the front of the Garden Green card.
Mount the image which is all connected together and has 2 outline citrus fruits, one outline citrus slice, and one solid lemon/lime shape from the Sweet Citrus Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad so you ink up the solid lemon/lime shape. Stamp it in the center of one of the 1-1/2" x 2" white rectangles so you get the solid lemon/lime shape. Don't worry about stamping any of the rest of the image, you aren't using anything else on this card. Re-ink the lemon/lime shape with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad and stamp it on the other 1-1/2" x 2" white rectangle.
Pick out the matching set of 4 citrus fruits die from the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it over one of the stamped lemons on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the solid lemon/lime cutting area is centered over the stamped image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other stamped lemon.
Put the cut out lemons inside the Embossing Folder from the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Emboss Folder so they are centered over solid lemons in the embossing folder. Close the folder and put it on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Using Stampin' Seal, adhere one lemon cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so it is centered over the ribbon about 1-1/2" from the top of the card. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the other lemon cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the top of the other lemon a bit as shown.
Mount the set of two leaves image from the Sweet Citrus Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/2" white square.
Pick out one of the matching set of 2 leaves dies from the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the stamped leaves on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Adhere the leaves cut out to the front of the card so they stick out at a slight angle on the upper left side of the lemons and are tucked between the two lemons as shown.
Mount the set of three small flowers in a bunch image from the Sweet Citrus Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining small white rectangle.
Pick out one of the matching sets of three small flowers dies from the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the stamped flowers image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the flowers are centered in the die openings. Run through the machine.
Uses Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flower cut outs to the front of the card as shown so the big flower and one small flower overlap the lemons a bit and the other small flower is in the upper right corner of the card.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large and 2 small gold sequins from the sheet of Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins making sure you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere the large one to the center of the large flower cut out on the card front and the two small ones to the centers of the two small flower cut outs on the card front.
