Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Always Artichoke Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Ink up the Stylized Birthday stamp with the Always Artichoke Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla rectangle.
Make sure you have some Grid Paper on your work surface to protect it from ink. Place the vanilla rectangle on the Grid Paper.
Mount the leafy vine image from the Timeless Textures Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Always Artichoke Ink Pad. Stamp around the edges of the vanilla rectangle so the leafy tops are pointing towards the sentiment and the stem ends are off the cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters so you have more sponges to work with. Rub the rounded side of the sponge quarter across the open Crumb Cake Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, sponge the edges of the stamped vanilla rectangle towards the center. Get more ink on the sponge as needed. Keep adding ink until you have the color saturation you want.
Tip: I just clean my sponges when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Place the stamped cardstock back onto the Grid Paper.
Squirt some Multipurpose Liquid Glue onto the Silicone Craft Sheet in a shallow oval.
Mount the grouping of scattered dots image from the Timeless Textures Set on Block A. Lightly touch the stamp to the pool of glue on the Silicone Sheet and then press it randomly onto the stamped, sponged vanilla rectangle around the sentiment. Repeat, remembering to get more glue on the stamp each time.
Sprinkle on some Gold Stampin' Glitter to cover the glue dots. Let the cardstock sit for a moment while you do the next step.
Thoroughly clean the dots stamp with the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist so that the glue does not dry on the stamp.
Tap off excess glitter. Return the excess glitter to the container to use again later.
Adhere the stamped, sponged, and glittered vanilla rectangle to the Crumb Cake rectangle and then to the front of the Always Artichoke card.
Cut a 4" piece of Gold 1/4" Natural Trim.
Tie a half knot in the center. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the base of the "b" in the word "birthday" at a slight angle.
