Stylish Sketches Woodland Fox

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Cajun Craze Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
   - 3-1/2" x 5-1/4" of wood rings design from Rings Of Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
   - 2-1/8" x 3-3/8" from Shaded Spruce Cardstock
   - 2" x 3-1/4' from Very Vanilla Cardstock
   - 1-1/2" x 2" from Cajun Craze Cardstock

2. Place the large Shaded Spruce rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.

3. Mount the splatters image from the Stylish Sketches Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it along the long top and bottom edges of the horizontal 4" x 5-1/4" Shaded Spruce rectangle. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.

4. Adhere the rectangle of Rings Of Love Designer Paper to the center of the stamped Shaded Spruce rectangle so 1/4" of stamped green shows along the top and bottom edges. The left and right edges will be even.

5. Adhere the Shaded Spruce rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Cajun Craze card.

6. Mount the fox image from the Stylish Sketches Set on Block I. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the horizontal Very Vanilla rectangle.

7. Place the fox stamped vanilla rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. You need to make sure that you protect your work surface with paper as the Stampin' Blends Markers do bleed through.

8. Use the Light and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends and Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends to color in the fox.

   Use the Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blends to color in the ground.

   Use the Light and Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends fine tip to color in some grass.

   Use the Color Lifter Stampin' Blends as needed to remove excess color.

9. Adhere the stamped and colored fox image to the center of the 2-1/8" x 3-3/8" Shaded Spruce rectangle.

10. Cut a 4" piece of the Natural 1/2" Woven Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.

11. Fold the ribbon in half. Using Tear & Tape Adhesive, adhere the folded ribbon to the back of the matted fox image so the angled ends will stick out to the upper right side of the matted fox image.

12. Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the matted fox image. Adhere the matted fox image with ribbon attached to the front of the card so it is about 1-1/8" from the top edge of the card and the left edge is about 5/8" from the left edge of the card.

13. As you are ready to stamp using the Charming Sentiments Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

14. Mount one of the smaller sentiments of choice from the Charming Sentiments Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Shaded Spruce Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Cajun Craze rectangle.

15. Pick out the matching die from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die. Run through the machine.

16. Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it overlaps the lower right corner of the matted fox image.

17. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small and 2 large dots from the sheet of Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the front of the card.
