Stitched All Around Flower Lace Day |
P retty card perfect for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, etc. using Stampin' Up! products.
Cut cardstock and specialty paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 5" of rectangle of lacy flowers and leaves from Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper
- 3-1/4" x 3-3/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square from Petal Pink Cardstock
Place the rectangle of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper on top of some Grid Paper to protect your work surface.
Roll a Sponge Brayer across the open Petal Pink Ink Pad to get it inky. Then, carefully roll the inky brayer over the piece of laser-cut paper. Repeat until you have the color coverage you want. Get more ink on the brayer as needed.
Tip: I just clean my Sponge Brayers when I'm done using them by running them under water until no more color is coming off. Then, I let them air dry. They may be stained, but they are clean enough to use with any color of ink in the future.
Place the inked up laser-cut paper upside down (colored side down) on top of a Silicone Craft Sheet to protect your work surface.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or the fine tip of the Multipurpose Liquid Glue to get thin lines of glue along the edges and on the back of some of the flowers and leaves on the laser-cut paper. Adhere the laser-cut paper to the center of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle.
Cut a 6" piece of the Petal Pink 1/4" ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.
Lay the ribbon across the center of the matted laser-cut/cardstock layers. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add SNAIL to the back of the Blackberry Bliss rectangle. Adhere it to the front of the Petal Pink card.
Mount the "Enjoy your special day" sentiment from the Stitched All Around Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white rectangle horizontally.
Pick out the large, open, filigree oval framelit from the Stitched Labels Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the sentiment. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the tiny pieces from the cut out.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon on the left side.
Pick out the grouping of four small flowers framelit from the Bouquet Bunch Framelits. Place the Petal Pink square on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the grouping of flowers framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush and Paper-Piercing Tool to remove the cut out.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the flowers to the bottom left side of the sentiment oval cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 small and 1 medium Blackberry Bliss dots from a sheet of Faceted Dots making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere them to the centers of the Petal Pink flowers.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 4 small or medium rhinestones from a sheet of Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the centers of flowers on the laser-cut paper.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Petal Pink 1/4" ribbon from the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the card front on top of the right side of the sentiment oval where it crosses the ribbon already on the card front.
