Stars At Night Desert Star Christmas

Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

1. Cut cardstock, designer paper, and shimmer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
   - card from Copper Clay Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
   - 4" x 5-1/4" from Misty Moonlight Cardstock
   - 1-3/4" x 5-1/4" of desert sands design from O Holy Night 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
   - 2-3/8" square of Night Of Navy shimmer paper from Soft Shimmer 12" x 12" Paper Combo Pack
   - 2" x 2-1/2" from Copper Clay Cardstock
   - 1-1/4" square of textured silver foil from Silver Foil 12" x 12" Specialty Pack

2. As you are ready to stamp using the Stars At Night Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.

3. Mount the "Merry Christmas" sentiment from the Stars At Night Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the horizontal Misty Moonlight rectangle.

4. Mount the large starburst image from the Stars At Night Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper left corner of the horizontal Misty Moonlight rectangle.

5. Pick out the stitched, curved edge die from the Basic Borders Dies. Put it on top of the O Holy Night designer paper strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so you will cut along one long edge of the paper. Run through the machine.

6. Adhere the cut strip of designer paper to the bottom of the stamped Misty Moonlight rectangle so it forms a "sand dune" across the bottom of the cardstock. Use Paper Snips Scissors if needed to cut off any excess designer paper.

7. Adhere the stamped Misty Moonlight rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Copper Clay card.

8. Pick out the solid, large, circular starburst die from the dies included in the Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the shimmer paper square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.

9. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the shimmer paper starburst cut out to the front of the card so it is centered as much as possible over the stamped starburst image.

10. Pick out the small, single, 8 pointed star die from the dies included in the Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the silver foil square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the foil side is face up. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.

11. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the small silver foil star cut out to the center of the shimmer paper starburst cut out.

12. Pick out the camel die from the Night Divine Dies. Put it on top of the Copper Clay rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.

13. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the camel cut out to the front of the card as shown.

14. Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a Starry Sky or Orchid Oasis pearl from the sheet of 2022-2024 In Color Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the center of the silver foil star cut out.
