Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 6-1/8" square of a design from Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 3" x 5-3/4 " of the same design from Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 3-3/4" from Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets
- 2" x 3-3/4" from coordinating cardstock, I used Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry
- flower(s) cut from sheet of Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper
Tip: As you are cutting the Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, think about the pattern on the paper, if any, and how it will be oriented on the finished project. Make sure to cut the smaller piece of designer paper so that any pattern will be oriented correctly on the cut out piece.
Pick out the front and half back of the mini treat bag thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Place the large square of designer paper on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the treat bag thinlit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Tip: Think about the pattern on the paper, if any, and how it will be oriented on the finished project. Make sure to place the jagged top edges of the thinlit on the designer paper so that any pattern will be oriented correctly on the cut out piece of paper.
Pick out the half back of the mini treat bag thinlit from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits. Place the long strip of designer paper on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the half back treat bag thinlit on top.
Fold on all score lines using a Bone Folder.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the up side (side with the pattern you are using showing) on the flap along the side of the skinny half back treat bag piece.
Peel the protective backing off the Tear & Tape Adhesive on the flap. Carefully adhere the flap to the long edge of the front of the larger bag piece. Fold the half back of the bag down flat across the back of the front piece.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the long edge of the half back piece you just folded over.
Peel the protective backing off the Tear & Tape Adhesive and fold the half back on the large bag piece over to adhere to the other half back piece.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the bottom flap piece on the under side (the side with the pattern you don't have showing).
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive and fold the flap up to seal off the bottom of the bag.
Carefully peel up the protective backing on one side of the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet piece and adhere the adhesive sheet to one side of the cardstock strip. Leave the other protective backing piece in place.
Place the piece of cardstock on the Precision Base Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot so that the adhesive side (with protective backing in place) is on the bottom (plain cardstock facing up).
Pick out the "amazing" or "celebrate" thinlit from the Celebrate You Thinlits. Place it on top of the cardstock on the Big Shot. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off of the word cut out. Adhere it to the front of the bag. For the "celebrate," I adhered it vertically down the left side of the bag. For the "amazing," I adhered it across the bottom third of the bag.
If you haven't already done so, use Paper Snips to carefully cut out a flower or a flower and a bud from the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Make sure you have some paper (Grid Paper works great) at your work space.to protect the work surface. The Stampin' Blends Markers will bleed through the designer paper that you are coloring so you need to protect your work surface.
Place the flower cut out(s) on the work paper and start coloring with the Stampin' Blends Markers. The markers have a brush tip for coloring in larger areas and a fine tip for coloring in smaller areas. Use the light colors first and add highlights with the darker colors. If needed to blend the colors, go over things again with the lighter colors. Use a clean tissue or paper towel to buff off excess ink.
Adhere the colored flower cut out(s) to the front of the bag using pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive or Stampin' Dimensionals.
