Fold the Mini Pizza Box on all score lines and assemble. Fill the box with treats and close it up.
Cut a 2-1/2" x 10" piece of your choice of design from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper. Pay attention to which way the designs are running depending on if you want a horizontal or vertical belly band on your box.
Gently wrap the strip of designer series paper around the box (either horizontally or vertically) as a belly band so that the ends meet in the center of the top of the box. Adhere the two strips together by adding a small strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive to one of the ends.
Decorate the box as desired. When stamping onto cardstock using the Spooky Cat Stamp Set images, place the cardstock onto the Stampin' Pierce Mat first. This will help you get cleaner, crisper stamped images.
For the Potions Box:
Cut the following:
- 3" square of Basic Black Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3" of Cajun Craze Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3" of Very Vanilla Cardstock
- scraps of Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze Cardstock at least 3" long
- 3 potion bottles cut from a scrap of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper
Emboss the Basic Black square using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. Adhere it to the belly band only using Tear & Tape Adhesive strips. Stamp the spider web oval sentiment in Basic Black Archival Ink in the center of the vanilla oval. Cut it out using a Layering Ovals Framelits Die. Cut out a scallop oval from the Cajun Craze Cardstock using a Layering Ovals Framelits Die. Adhere the two ovals together and then to the center of the black square. Stamp the "Happy Halloween" sentiment in Cajun Craze on a scrap of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock. Punch it out with the Classic Label Punch. Punch a label from a scrap of Cajun Craze Cardstock using the Classic Label Punch. Cut the Cajun Craze punch out in half. Adhere the two halves to the back of the sentiment punch out so they stick out on the sides by about 1/8". Adhere the sentiment punch outs to the center of the oval sentiment using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the potion bottle cut outs to the top of the box.
For the Stack of Pumpkins Box:
Before wrapping the piece of dotted Spooky Night Designer Series Paper around the Mini Pizza Box, use Sponge Daubers and the Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie Ink Pads to color the vanilla dots.
Cut the following:
- 3-1/4" square from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 3" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- scrap of Cajun Craze Cardstock at least 3" long
- tiny scrap of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 3 jack o'lanterns cut from Spooky Night Designer Series Paper
Cut a 4-1/2" piece of Burlap Ribbon with slanted ends. Adhere the ribbon horizontally to the center of the belly band with a piece of Tear & Tape. Cut circles out of the vanilla and orange cardstocks with Layering Circles Framelits. Adhere them together and then to the center of the belly band using Tear & Tape. Adhere two bigger pumpkins flat one on top of the other on the right side of the circle. Adhere a small pumpkin to the top of the stack using a Dimensional. Stamp the "Trick or Treat" sentiment in Basic Black Ink onto the piece of Cajun Craze. Cut out the words "trick" and "treat" by hand using Snips. Adhere them flat at an angle on the left side of the circle. Leave space between them. Stamp the sentiment again on the scrap of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock so you get the word "or." Cut it out by hand. Cut a tiny piece of Dimensionals from the edges of the sheet and adhere the "or" in between the other 2 words.
For the Owl Box:
Before wrapping the piece of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper around the box, use a Sponge Dauber and Crushed Curry Ink to change the vanilla background to yellow.
Cut the following:
- 3-1/4" of Crushed Curry Cardstock
- 2" x 4" of Basic Black Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" of Very Vanilla Cardstock
- scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock at least 1-3/4" wide
Cut a circle from the Crushed Curry Cardstock using a Layering Circles Framelits Die. Cut a branch from the Basic Black Cardstock using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Die. Use the sponge held in a binder clip and Multipurpose Liquid Glue technique to adhere the branch to the yellow circle. Try to leave the top, short branch unglued. Trim off excess. Adhere the circle to the belly band only using Tear & Tape. Stamp the owl image in Cajun Craze Ink on the strip of vanilla. Use the Sponge Dauber and Crushed Curry Ink to color in the eyes and feet. Stamp the rat/mouse image in Basic Black onto the owl so it looks like the owl is holding the rat/mouse in his mouth. Cut out the owl by hand. Adhere it to the left side of the circle so it seems to be sitting on the lower branch with the short, top branch overlapping it. Stamp the "happy owl oween" image in Cajun Craze on the scrap of vanilla. Use the Crushed Curry Marker to color in the eyes. Punch out the sentiment with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch. Outline the edges with the side of the brush tip of the marker. Adhere the sentiment to the lower right of the yellow circle with Dimensionals. - black cat punched out of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper using Cat Punch
Wrap some Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine around the belly band on the box and secure in place with Tear & Tape across the center of the top of the belly band. Cut a scalloped circle from the Basic Black Cardstock using a Layering Circles Framelits Die. Adhere it to the center of the belly band only using Tear & Tape. Cut a circle from the square of Very Vanilla Cardstock using a Layering Circles Framelits Die. Use a ruler to draw a horizontal line across the bottom of the circle at 5/8" up. Use the Basic Black Marker to draw lines and dotted lines at an angle up to the horizontal line. Adhere the cat punch out to the left side of the circle so the tail hangs over the edge just a tiny bit and it covers the horizontal line. Punch a 1-1/4" circle out of the Pumpkin Pie scrap. Stamp the "Eat at your own risk" sentiment in Pumpkin Pie on the scrap of vanilla. Punch it out with the 1" Circle Punch. Adhere the sentiment circle to the orange circle. Carefully ink up the "trick" word only on the "trick or treat" sentiment by pressing the word onto the Cajun Craze Ink Pad. Stamp it about 1/2" from the bottom of the vanilla square. Carefully ink up only the word "treat" in the same way. Stamp it in line with the word "trick" about 3/8" apart. Clean the stamp. Ink up the word "or" only with the Basic Black Marker. Stamp it in the center of the tiny scrap of Pumpkin Pie. Use the fine tip of the marker to trace over the word and lines if needed. Punch out the word "or" with the 1/2" Circle Punch. Stamp the witch's hat image in Basic Black Ink over the top of the words at a slight angle. Stamp the belt buckle image inside the buckle on the hat in Pumpkin Pie Ink. Cut out the words and hat image using a Layering Squares Framelits Die. Adhere the square to the center of the scalloped orange square. Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the "or" circle between the words "trick" and "treat." Wrap Basic Black Baker's Twine around the witch hat cut out from the designer paper and secure in place on the back with Tear & Tape. Tie another piece of Baker's Twine around the strands on the hat in a small bow. Trim the ends. Adhere the hat cut out to the left top of the stamped hat at an angle.

Adhere the sentiment punch out to the center of the spider web sentiment oval so the left edge sticks out over all three layers of squares.
