Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2" x 5-1/4" of dictionary entries on tan background design from Monster Bash Designer Series Paper, cut so the words are horizontal on the vertical rectangle
- 2" square of Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" from Crushed Curry Cardstock
- gargoyle image cut from piece of dictionary entries on tan background design from Monster Bash Designer Series Paper
Rub the open Soft Suede Ink Pad all over the inside of the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder on one side. Insert the large Very Vanilla rectangle into the inky Subtle 3D Embossing Folder so the lines run horizontally on the vertical rectangle. Place the folder with the paper inside on your die cutting and embossing tool and run through the machine.
Tip: When you are done, run the embossing folder under water until no more ink is coming off. Allow to air dry.
If desired, place the dry embossed vanilla rectangle on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Swipe the open Soft Suede Ink Pad across the rectangle on an angle a few times to add more areas of darker color. You are trying to make it look like linen wrappings for the mummy.
Adhere the strip of dictionary entries Monster Bash Designer Paper to the left side of the dry embossed vanilla rectangle.
If you haven't already done so, cut out the gargoyle image from the Monster Bash Designer Paper by hand using Paper Snips.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the gargoyle cut out to the bottom right corner of the dry embossed vanilla rectangle.
Adhere the dry embossed vanilla rectangle with designer paper pieces attached to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Mount the framed mummy image from the Spooktacular Bash Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small vanilla square.
Pick out the matching square die with pointy corners from the Ornate Frames Dies. Put it on top of the stamped framed mummy image on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the image is centered. Run through the tool.
Use the Markers to color in the image.
- Use Crushed Curry to color in the canvas behind the mummy and his eyeballs.
- Use Pumpkin Pie to color in the frame and to add bloodshot lines to his eyes.
Cut a 4" piece of the Crumb Cake Nature's Twine.
Fold the twine in half and use Black Stampin' Dimensionals to attach it to the back of the framed mummy image so the loose ends will stick out on the right side of the image when it is face up.
Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and adhere the framed mummy cut out with twine attached to the back to the front of the card so it is centered side to side over the right edge of the designer paper strip and is about 1-1/4" from the top.
Fray the ends of the twine.
Mount the "Spooky" or "Creepy" sentiment from the Spooktacular Bash Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Crushed Curry strip.
Pick out the small stitched label die with rounded ends from the Ornate Frames Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the sentiment is more to the right. Run through the tool.
Use Black Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment cut out to the front of the card so it is centered just under the framed mummy image.
